As owner of Awning Solutions, Inc, I am committed to excellence. It’s has been a dream and goal to own and operate an awning company where I can apply what I’ve learned over last 24 years in the trade with our clients and employees.
 

MY RÉSUMÉ
 

1982 to 1986: (family farm)
 
Ran the family produce farm in Hebron Indiana, a small town south of Chicago Illinois. Before and after school, I worked the fields alongside my parents and siblings. My parents taught us from an early age the importance of hard work, commitment, and perseverance.
 

1986 to present: (military career active and reservist)
 
Currently a Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9) with the United States Navy Reserves. I’ve spent the last 24 years mastering the skills of the “parachute loft” where I learned to sew and fabricate parachutes and life saving equipment. I learned early on how important it is to pay attention to detail and that every detail is important.
 

1990 to 2007: (awning career)
 
After leaving Active Duty I went to work for a local awning company where I sewed and fabricated custom awnings and canvas products. Since then I’ve been actively engaged in the manufacturing and production of various awning and canvas structures from small to large scale projects. I’ve trained and instructed employees on the techniques used and improved the processes in development of the latest shade systems on the market.
 

EDUCATION
 

Bachelor of Science information systems: University of Redlands 2003.
 

Associates of Science environmental technologies: Cuyamaca College 1998.

All-Custom Residential Work Covers
 
Window awnings, stationary door awnings, patio/deck canopies, roll-up curtains, shade panels, mesh curtains/shade cloth, trellis and arbors, retractable awnings and canopies, with manual or motorized operation.
 

All-Custom Commercial Work Covers
 
Storefront awnings, back lit awnings, entrance canopies, sidewalk café canopies, graphic panels, custom design structures, specialty awnings and projects for businesses, including retail boutiques, shopping malls, and restaurants. We offer digital printed banners and media, custom designed for all awning and canvas application.
